A magical wedding in Cap Ferret

Discover the beautiful memories of an elegant wedding that LP Floral Designer had the pleasure of flowering. The bride, daughter of a former client when I worked in a boutique on the Cap Ferret peninsula, was originally scheduled to marry at Château de la Ligne in 2020, but the Covid pandemic changed their plans. In the end, their flower wedding took place at the family estate in La Vigne, on August 27, 2021.

The ceremony took place in the charming Chapelle de la Villa Algérienne in the village of L’Herbe in Lège-Cap-Ferret. Our floral designers sublimated the entrance with two floral columns, and each pew was adorned with superb white hydrangea flowers. The altar, meanwhile, was beautifully framed by two large designer floral arrangements on high.

The reception was held in the gardens of the estate in the village of La Vigne in Cap Ferret. The wedding tables were decorated with standing bowls of bright, garden-style flowers, including cosmos, zinnias, lisianthus, carnations, freesias and wax, all designed by our wedding florists. Each napkin was embellished with a colorful buttercup, a small detail that makes all the difference.

Géraldine had a very specific vision for her bridal bouquet: voluminous and natural-looking, as if freshly picked from a garden. Our wedding florists incorporated dahlias, phlox, cosmos, zinnias and other flowers, enhanced by asparagus and pepper foliage. A drooping fuchsia and orange ribbon added a vibrant touch, reminiscent of the one on her cape.

To complete her outfit, Géraldine wanted a floral tiara, designed by our creative florists with timeless flowers so she could keep it as a memento of her memorable day. The groom’s boutonniere, matching the floral palette, added a refined touch to his suit. Finally, a garland of flowers adorned the windshield of their car, elegantly distinguishing it from the rest of the procession and meticulously prepared at the Villenave d’Ornon floral workshop.
